We Started Renderkits with One Idea
Early design decisions shouldn’t be slow, expensive, or guesswork. So we built a system to help architects and developers explore styles, test concepts, and move faster — with clarity and confidence. That idea became Renderkits: A visual tool for better decisions at the start of every project.

Renderkits started as a frustration — with long CGI lead times, high costs, and design decisions made too late.
As designers and builders ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way to align teams and shape strong concepts earlier in the process.
So we created a system that combines AI speed with human design sense.

From Dentist to Founder — and a Whole New Service for Architects and Developers
Renderkits is a solo-driven AI design venture based in Oslo, Norway.
Founded by Matehus Severino Johansen 3 a serial entrepreneur and practicing dentist, with a background in health tech, AI innovation, and digital product development.
Matehus has previously:
Raised funding and backing from Innovasjon Norge, Norway9s official innovation agency supporting high-potential startups
Joined 6AM, a Norwegian accelerator for design- and product-led ventures
Participated in the Newchip Accelerator, a U.S.-based global program focused on investor readiness (operated until 2023)
With one foot in clinical precision and the other in creative systems thinking, Matehus uses AI prompt engineering to craft compelling architectural visuals at record speed.
